In 2015 was approved by the Chilean Senate Health Commission the bill that incorporates new regulations to the sale of alcohol beverages adding in the packing of any drink the graduation equal or greater than one degree, which is destined to be market in Chile, and a warning about the consequences of excessive consumption “drinking excessively damage your health and can harm others”.
Similarly, the legends of warning should include one of the following sentences: “Pregnant woman should not drink alcohol”, “Alcohol consumption limits your ability to drive”, “alcohol consumption in minors damage this physical and intellectual development”. Nowadays this project has returned to the Chamber of Deputies in third constitutional procedure without urgency.
