Gender Law posponed

On December 13th, the discussion of gender law in Chile has been postponed. This project has been in process since 2013, and now it will return to Human Rights Commission, with the aim of giving it new indications.

The project discussed contemplates that adolescences younger than 14 years old may apply for a new name in a Family Court which must be authorized by their parents.
